German SAP User Group DSAG congress in Leipzig – review- part 2

The writer is Gerd Psiuk, Sales Manager Special Expertise Consulting, itelligence AG, Bielefeld

Yesterday my colleague, Markus Kellermeyer, shared with you his review from the first day of the DSAG congress. Today I would like to share with you my impressions from  key note speech by Gerhard Oswald, COO of SAP AG:

Oswald Presented the developments in in-memory technology, mobile solutions, complexity reduction and Enterprise Support.

Of particular interest was the comparison of announcements made at the 2010 DSAG annual conference with actual achievements in 2011.

Tangible business applications are already available, particularly in terms of the in-memory application HANA, and, with regard to the SAP mobile apps announced, successful apps are also available for Business By Design.

Since customer demands for reduced complexity were again made very clear, it is our opinion that using the various rapid deployment solutions is an approach that should continue to be pursued.
