– A success story with Evonik Industries AG
In a global merger & acquisition as well as carve-out strategy, an important question is how to handle the IT. A subsidiary should be quickly integrated into the group and be handed over with a fully-functioning, independent ERP system. This usually took a significant amount of time and energy. Wanting to improve the manageability and agility of carving out small companies, Evonik Industries AG approached us. Considering the technical and legal requirements and the short implementation period, we suggested to take a closer look at the SAP cloud solution SAP Business ByDesign.
The cloud solutions by SAP offer an intuitive user experience which lets users quickly adapt and because of the standardization the integration process is very time and budget efficient. Working closely together with Evonik, we were able to undertake a carve-out project to change over the IT systems at one of its subsidiaries in just five weeks.
Within this short time period, the itelligence consultants conducted SAP Business ByDesign including SAP Financial (FIN), Human Capital Management (HCM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and Supply Chain Management (SCM) at their US subsidiary which works in the area of foam production and has approximately 50 employees.
