Code of Conduct – Suppliers

As of October 2nd 2019.

We believe that building long-term relationships with suppliers is crucial for our business. That includes mutual expectation of high standards when it comes to Business Ethics & Integrity, Human Rights, Environment and Data Ethics.  As a supplier to itelligence a/s we expect you to share our approach to below-mentioned areas in your daily business. The requirements below are the minimum legally binding requirements that suppliers accept when entering any contract or accept a purchase order from itelligence a/s.

itelligence Nordic Region´s culture is based on our values which are integral to our activities and is characterized by being informal and attentive. Our core values are:

We inspire our employees to exhibit these values and we expect our suppliers to do the same.

This Supplier Code of Conduct is in addition to applicable laws. Furthermore, below mentioned general principles should be used as guidelines to establish a comprehensive Supplier Code of Conduct: UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights, the UN Global Compact and the International Labour Organisation (ILO) Conventions.

Suppliers shall at all time be able to prove compliance with below requirements.


Business Ethics & Integrity
:

Suppliers shall comply with applicable national and international laws and regulations.

  • All transactions shall be based on honesty, confidentiality and free competition.
  • Suppliers shall have appropriate measures implemented to avoid employees to engage in corruption, bribing, fraud or money laundering.

Human Rights:

Suppliers shall be in compliance with applicable laws and regulations in regards to human rights. Moreover, suppliers shall not to be directly or indirectly involved in any human rights violations at any stage of their business activities:

  • Fair & Equal Treatment: Suppliers shall secure and promote equal opportunities and treatment for employees regardless of race, colour, political orientation, religion, gender or gender expression, age, national origin or ancestry, pregnancy or maternity leave, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability or social status. Furthermore, suppliers are expected to respect any individual‘s personal values, privacy and rights.
  • Forced Labour: Any form of forced labour is strictly prohibited.
  • Discrimination: Suppliers shall actively guard employees against any form of physical, psychological, verbal, sexual or any other kind of harassment. Any behaviour (including gesture and verbal or physical contact) that are sexual, threatening, predatory, abusive or insulting must be prohibited.
  • Employment of Minors: Suppliers shall not recruit or employ child labour. Young workers, meaning those below the age of 18, Supplier shall exhibit special care, attention and treatment.
  • Wages and Benefits: The supplier shall provide wages and benefits that comply with applicable laws and regulations and guarantee minimum wage compliance.

Environment:

Suppliers will act in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and international standards concerning environmental protection. Suppliers shall proactively implement actions to reduce emissions and environmental impacts.

Data Ethics:

Suppliers shall not develop and/or use technology that undermines political elections, freedom rights democratic institutions or public governance.

Non-Compliance:

In the event of non-compliance, suppliers shall contact itelligence a/s without delay.
