The central topic at CeBIT 2017 is “digital economy.” Using technology, business models and creative ideas, people shape our future world. The next-generation business suite – SAP S/4HANA® – is a crucial building block for successful digitisation of enterprises. For that reason, itelligence AG is focusing its CeBIT presentations on the journey to SAP S/4HANA.
Visitors to itelligence, in Hall 4, C04, will learn how to convert their ERP systems and IT processes to SAP S/4HANA, taking a decisive step towards « digital value creation. » In addition to the traditional presentation of technology and methodology related to SAP S/4HANA, this year itelligence is inviting attendees to its first « Expert Days » at the stand, focusing on the topics of SCP, Industry 4.0, intelligent production and digital sales.
A strong signal for digitisation
Business experts expect this year’s CeBIT trade fair to provide a strong impulse for worldwide economic growth in connection with digitisation in all areas. That’s not just because the German government is in the process of preparing for the G20 summit on “Digitisation,” and the Hanover trade fair is an important milestone along the way. It’s also because Japan will be taking part in this year’s CeBIT as a partner country. CeBIT partner country Japan – NTT drives digitisation in Japan
The NTT Group is one of the important drivers of efficient digitisation in Japanese society and industry. The telecommunications giant is one of the world’s largest operators of high-efficiency data networks and data centres distributed over all continents.
In Hanover, NTT will discuss the key topics of this year’s CeBIT: Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), Virtual Reality, Security, Artificial Intelligence and the Cloud, and show them in use. Visitors will learn about the digital transformation for Smart Cities, intelligent production and agriculture, as well as sport and culture. On 21st March at the CeBIT Global Conference in Hanover, NTT will provide an overview of the status of the latest discoveries in research and development – for example, with keynotes from Toshio Iwamoto CEO of NTT DATA.

Showcase “Automated High Rack Storage”
This best-practice case maps digital warehousing processes. They are based entirely on the logistical functions of SAP S/4HANA. It comprises inventory management, location-based inventory management, material flow control as well as the hardware. The entire solution runs without sub-systems.
itelligence Industry 4.0 Methodology
Realization of Industry 4.0 takes more than digitisation of business processes. The company management needs to rethink everything, right down to the fundamental structures of the organisation. Business Partner Integration
Deutsche Telekom has announced that the ISDN infrastructure will be deactivated by 2018 at the latest. This will affect several hundred thousand companies, which will switch to IP solutions. For this reason, itelligence has highly-optimised, alternative solutions – for example, OFTP2-capable EDI solutions for the automotive industry. itelligence demonstrates easy use of an OFTP2 configuration in the it.x-EDIconnect solution. ERP Challenge and Exclusive Expert Discussions
How can a customer-specific product order be processed and controlled efficiently using an ERP system? This is the challenge that itelligence AG will be tackling on the “Digital ERP Stage” – the centrepiece of the special ERP show in Hall 5. In each session, two ERP providers will present their solution for a given scenario: The processes for handling a customer order for an “e.Go KART” will be demonstrated. Each solution will be put through its paces, completing all the steps involved in processing an individual customer order, from barcode to timely delivery.
Interested parties are invited to arrange an exclusive expert discussion on a specific topic area in advance.
