25th Anniversary Blog Series – itelligence Opens New North American Headquarters and Data Center (2012)

In July 2012, itelligence opened its new North American headquarters and data center at Legacy Pointe, a development park in the Greater Cincinnati city of Blue Ash, Ohio. The grand opening was celebrated with an employee party and a customer event in August. Reflecting on the significance of itelligence’s new U.S. “home base,” Steve Niesman, president and CEO of itelligence U.S, said, “The headquarters and data center relocation and expansion reflect itelligence’s business success and aggressive growth of current and future space needs, but they also demonstrate our commitment to providing the best employee experience and keeping customers’ needs foremost in all aspects of our business.” The 8.09-acre site is home to two structures—a new 70,000-square foot, Class A office building and a state-of-the-art, 16,000-square foot data center— representing more than 86,000 square feet in new construction. itelligence’s SAP Hosting Data Center was designed according to the Uptime Institute’s Tier IV definition and provides complete redundancy throughout all the infrastructure components. The facility features the highest levels of security, redundancy, efficiency and communication options, as well as a number of energy efficient features directly linked to its global ‘Green’ initiatives.
