the Other segment were unchanged from the previous year at MEUR 3.8.

Along with the increased revenues, itelligence AG also improved all its earnings
figures. This was mostly attributable to the strong fourth quarter, in which EBIT
(earnings before interest and taxes) rose by 48.5% from MEUR 6.6 to MEUR 9.8. The
EBIT margin improved from 5.8% to 7.2%. For the year as a whole, EBIT thus

Accordingly, the EBIT margin improved by 0.2 percentage points from 4.7% to 4.9%.
In the past fiscal year, consolidated net profit rose by 18.2% from MEUR 13.7 to
MEUR 16.2.

contributed to this strong revenue growth in fiscal year 2013. In particular, the revenue
share for recurring business increased to 40%. With this strong growth, we have also
managed to further improve our profitability. For the first time in the history of itelligence
AG, we have more than 3,000 employees worldwide – at the end of the year, our
headcount stood at 3,078.”

In light of the encouraging order situation, itelligence AG’s strong market positioning
and the good performance of the acquisitions, the Management Board is forecasting
further growth in revenues and a further improvement in the earnings situation in fiscal
year 2014. Revenues in 2014 are expected to exceed MEUR 500, corresponding to a
rise of around 10%. Earnings are expected to record a stronger improvement than
revenues. itelligence aims to achieve an EBIT margin of around 5.5%.
