Yesterday was the third and final day of this year’s DSAG annual conference.
Time to draw some initial conclusions:
The high number of attendees (3,900) and the variety of exhibition stands (170) made every day a lively one in the exhibition hall. This was also reflected by the number of contacts made at our itelligence stand: The number of qualified contacts was 20% greater than last year.
In specialist presentations totaling 12,000 minutes, detailed information was provided on all key SAP topics.
The closing key note speech by Michael Kleinemeier of SAP again concentrated on the SAP strategy already highlighted by Hagemann Snabe and Oswald from their respective standpoints; in this case, the focus was on “Making visible added value from IT investments”:
The following topics were covered:
— Faster ROI
— Integration – across companies
— Rapidly growing data quantities
— Mobile devices
Several short system demos underlined the current status of the SAP products.
Finally, let’s look to the future: The next DSAG conference will be held in Bremen from September 25 – 27, 2012. Until then … I wish you success, good projects and satisfied customers. MK.
