I am lucky enough to be spending this week in Madrid attending SAP SapphireNow and TechEd. I thought I would try and blog a few thoughts during my time here.
I travelled over with some colleagues from itelligence UK, Asad Mahmood, Andrew Fox and Stephen Jerram. For some of us this is our first TechEd, for others it’s not such a new thing. As one of those who is attending for the first time I have to say that I am hugely impressed by the sheer scale of the event.
Want to know the first thing I saw on arrival? The McLaren stand complete with their new roadcar and a formula 1 car.
The stand was manned by the ever friendly Paul Barker from SAP UK and he was more than happy to practice his pitch on us! And no I didn’t buy the car 🙂
From there we headed off to the Partner Edge Event and met up with itelligence colleagues from all over Europe. It is always great to meet up face to face with people you so often only communicate with through email or telephone calls. Once again a timely reminder of the excellent people we have working at itelligence.
The main sessions start tomorrow morning with the keynotes. I will do my best to post updates through the rest of the week.
Now we are off to check into our hotel and possibly find some tapas!
