An e-Smart car at the iteligence stand at CeBIT was a real eye-catcher, and there was a great deal of curiosity about the answer to the question “What’s itelligence doing with an e-Smart car on their own CeBIT stand?”!
Why is there an electric car at the itelligence stand?
The driving force behind the action at our stand was the project Electromobility in Lippe (EMiLippe). Together with the district of Lippe, the University of East Westphalia-Lippe, the Fraunhofer Application Center for Industrial Automation (IOSB INA) in Lemgo, the Institute of Industrial Information Technology (inIT) and Herbert Kannegiesser GmbH, Phoenix Contact GmbH & Co. KG and OWITA GmbH, we at itelligence have developed a mobility management system for the promotion of electric mobility in rural areas. Our partners from “Das kommt aus Bielefeld” have already reported on it.
Who’s been taking an interest?
In addition to having many interesting conversations with those interested in this type of electric vehicle, at CeBIT we were able to have discussions with representatives of automotive companies and those interested in the solution and the research project itself, including those from abroad: from Switzerland to China and Russia to Qatar!
So our solution is making the rounds! This was the latest in our “Guided Tours”, in which we presented the project at our stand to a select international audience: Whether in Russian with simultaneous translation or in English – the question of “why” in terms of the electric car at the itelligence-stand was answered in detail.
We’ll also be using our blog a lot more to bring you news about our research project.
If you already have questions, I look forward to reading your comments.
