Every year with around 4000 attendees, SAP Forum 2014 Istanbul is the most comprehensive annual IT event of Turkey. With this year’s theme of “Innovation Through Simplification”, the event took place on 31st of October in Haliç Congress Centre. itelligence Turkey was the platinum sponsor of the event.
I would like to take a “minute” to summarize the valuable content and insights provided and the great experience that we have made again this year.
To begin with, this year’s booth and presentation participation was one of the best ever yet. Among 10 parallel slots with 127 different sessions, itelligence TR showed up in 5 different slots including presentations, panel discussion, interviews, demo session and much more to discuss hottest topics like Suite on HANA, Hybris, Success Factors, SAP BPC, IS-Retail and GK-POS. More than 350 participants attended in person to these sessions in order to have a deeper understanding of solutions provided by itelligence.
My 3 cherry-picked personal highlights out of the 5 content-rich sessions of itelligence TR are as follows:
- Panel Discussion: Predicted Future Performance with SAP BPC
Financial planning managers of our 3 strong reference in SAP BPC; Turkcell Global Bilgi, Silverline and Hedef Grup shared their experiences with attendees about their SAP BPC projects with reasons underlying their investment, and the strategic importance of the implementation partner.
- Drama-Demo Session: Retail Experience in itelli.store
itelli.store took the guest through a quick journey starting from the back office to the store with a joyful scenario. It was a real-time demo retail experience covered topics like; back-office applications, distributing channels decisions, improving customer loyalty, creating powerful promotions, and GK-POS in retail.
- Presentation: New Generation of Commerce, Hybris
This presentation differentiates itself amongst others as being the first and only session that has ever presented on Hybris in Turkey.
Other sessions on Suite on HANA and Success Factors were also eye-catching, there was literally no place to sit down in “Goal and Performance Management with Success Factors” presentation.
Another highlight of Forum was the Quality Award Ceremony. Among well-known global corporations, Fenerbahce Sports Club breasted the tape and won the Golden Award in Rapid Delivery category with its 7 months SAP ERP and Business Analytics project. It was the first Quality Award that has ever given to a sports club by SAP.
Furthermore, with the greatest contribution of 2 different event-specific campaigns that we conduct during Forum, our booth was the most visited one. Created by itelligence Turkey marketing team, “Lucky Cubes Campaign” and “itelli.TrendGame” achieved great success and resulted in an exponential increase session participation and brand exposure.
itelligence branded buggy cars were the surprise of the event, during the day our buggies transferred SAP Forum attendees from one point to another. It was the only transfer option for the attendees who were too tired to move forward by feet, and captured a remarkable demand.
