Great news for Glasgow!

The European commission recently announced the nine cities shortlisted for the European Capital of Innovation Awards 2016. The finalists were chosen by a high-level jury of independent experts from 36 applications and the winner will receive a first prize of €950,000.

It’s great to see Glasgow make the shortlist, and as far as we are concerned, it’s well deserved.

As many of you will no doubt be aware, Glasgow is the UK home of itelligence Global Managed Services. The office is managed by Karen McLaughlin and her team who are focused on providing the very best in SAP support, maintenance and remote consulting services to the itelligence Customer base in the UK and beyond. Based on continued success the team has grown rapidly over the last few years and is now over 50 strong with several open vacancies.

For existing SAP customers who are considering working with itelligence the visit to Glasgow to meet Karen and her team is always a key element in their decision making process and the feedback we get is great.

There is a rich pool of technical talent in and around Glasgow and we are pleased to be playing our small part in the success of the city. Long may it continue, and good luck for the prize!
