Planning the NTT DATA Business Solutions conference 2015 - Part 1

This is the first in an occasional series of posts taking you behind the scenes as we plan for the 2015 NTT DATA Business Solutions conference.

I will try and provide insights into the decision making process behind a variety of items, including the following.

• Location and Venue
• Agenda
• Format
• Speakers
• Celebrity Keynote

For this post I thought I would start by talking about the agenda. If you have attended our conference in the past you will be aware that after an initial morning keynote we split the day into a number of parallel streams before brining everyone back together for a final afternoon celebrity keynote. This worked extremely well last year with our guest, Sir Clive Woodward proving to be a particularly popular choice.

This structure means that we offer approximately 25-30 individual presentation sessions throughout the day. As I am sure you can imagine, pulling the agenda together can be a challenge, as can rounding up the presenters! There are so many possible topics that can be covered and we are conscious of not wanting to miss anything out.

With this in mind, we have decided to do things a little differently this year. We are going to crowdsource the bulk of our agenda!

That’s right, we want you to influence the topics and areas that we will cover during the sessions.

We have created an online survey and would be thrilled if you would take a few minutes of your precious time to share your opinion.
