itelligence, Inc. Expands Portfolio of Supply Chain Offerings
Strategic partnerships further enhance capabilities to help customers reduce costs, improve customer service, and get products to market faster
CINCINNATI – May 5, 2015 – itelligence, Inc. today announced the expansion of the company’s supply chain portfolio with additional SAP® certified offerings. Part of the expansion includes two strategic partnerships with companies, Gesellschaft für Information und Bildung mbH (G.I.B), and ERP Integrated Solutions, Inc. (ERP-IS). The G.I.B Dispo-Cockpit solution solves supply chain planning challenges in the area of predicting demand, optimizing inventory levels and managing MRP processes. The ERP-IS ShipERP™ solution handles issues related to rising freight costs and managing the shipping process with a multi-carrier/multi-mode shipping solution for parcel, truck, rail or ocean. Both offerings can be leveraged whether the customer is running an SAP® Standard ECC environment on a traditional database or SAP HANA®.
These solutions, along with itelligence proprietary accelerators, fast-track implementation time and expedite return-on-investment for new and existing SAP customers. The supply chain line-of-business today has endless options when it comes to business tools. With the continued investment in people, technology and partnerships, itelligence is leading customers to their supply chain execution vision. With the combination of SAP solutions and itelligence’s supply chain expertise, best practices, and accelerated implementation tools, customers can achieve a proven lower cost of ownership with their SAP investment.
“With G.I.B and ShipERP solutions, companies can have a low cost of entry to improve demand and forecast accuracy, optimize inventory and reduce shipping costs while improving transportation visibility,” said Troy Duncan, Vice President, Supply Chain Line-of-Business, itelligence North America. “We recognize that no two customers are the same, and our mission is to jointly execute the supply chain vision while ensuring a lower cost of ownership and maximum return on their SAP investment. With more than 25 years of industry experience, along with the expertise that G.I.B and ERP-IS bring, we look forward to collaborating with customers to develop a practical roadmap to achieve their supply chain goals.”
“The ShipERP product runs seamlessly inside SAP, and our implementation saved us a quick $30K/year in residential and address correction fees alone,” said Tim Thomas, VP of Information Systems and Global Logistics, MCR Safety. “In addition, we improved customer service due to the increased visibility of carrier commitments. ShipERP also empowered our transportation department to manage carriers and consolidate shipments which improved our productivity and further reduced our transportation costs. The partnership between itelligence and ERP-IS makes a lot of sense, because itelligence can look at our SAP supply chain strategy and offer quick ROI solutions, like ShipERP. It’s a natural fit.”
