“Personal Information” means information or set of information that identifies or could be used to identify by or on behalf of itelligence to identify an individual. Personal Information does not include data that is encoded or anonymized or publicly available information that has not been combined with non-public personal information.
Security of our customers’ data is a priority for itelligence. itelligence will not disclose, move, access or use customer data except as provided in the customer services agreement between Client and itelligence or as required to comply with law (including a valid binding order of a governmental or regulatory body) and to protect our legal rights. To the extent permitted by law, itelligence will provide prior notice of any disclosure of customer data so Client may seek a protective order if they so desire.
Personal Information from EEA
When processing customer data from the EEA, itelligence complies with the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the protection of natural persons with regard to the procession of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR). Our Data Processing Addendum (DPA) with Model Clauses (also referred to as Standard Contractual Clauses) allows for the transfer of data outside of the EEA to the US in compliance with GDPR. The DPA is available to all clients for which itelligence is processing personal data from the EEA.
itelligence is committed to protecting the data shared with us. itelligence uses a combination of industry-standard security technologies, physical and operational procedures, and organizational measures to help protect data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, loss, misuse, alteration, or unintentional destruction. itelligence supports online security using secure server technology and state-of-the-art security arrangements and facilities on itelligence sites. Our security measures are periodically reviewed and updated in an effort to provide appropriate security for all data. We require all of our employees to observe your privacy and confidentiality rights.
You should keep in mind that the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, itelligence cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to us via the internet; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, itelligence will use strict procedures and security features designed to prevent unauthorized access.
While itelligence take steps to protect your data, you also play a role in protecting your information. You should not share your log-on information or password with anyone. If we receive instructions using your log-on information and password we will assume that the instructions have been authorized by you.
Affiliates and Third Party Service Providers
We work closely with our global affiliates and third party service providers for the provisioning of your services. Our affiliates and third parties are required to have security and data protection standards that are substantially similar to itelligence’s standards and procedures. For customers with Personal Information from the EEA, we require our affiliates and third party providers to sign a DPA with EU Model Clauses for compliance with GDPR.
